Clinical research professional training
CTSI's Translational Workforce Development (TWD) team develops and implements research training programs to improve the efficiency, quality, and ethics of human research. TWD provides services to the University of Minnesota research workforce with the following services.
Seminars and workshops
- Bi-monthly Clinical Research Professional Development Series on research-related topics helpful for clinical research staff (archived recordings Sept. 2015 to current)
Programs and training
Human Research Training online tool
An online tool that helps U of M clinical research professionals who work with human participants and their supervisors to help identify and maintain the appropriate training, certification, credentials, and immunizations required to perform research with human participants.
Regular communication
- Through a listserv for clinical research professionals that includes training, events, jobs and other helpful information
Associated fees and funding for services
The TWD team offers these resources free of charge to the investigator, study team, and department.
